An Amazon purchasing API for AI agents

Not an official Amazon site. Amazon Agents Gateway is an independent proxy that gives your agent two calls: look up live Amazon product details, then buy. Pay with a credit card or a signed crypto authorization on Ethereum, Base or BSC. No browser automation, no checkout scraping.

How it works

1. Look up an item

Send an ASIN and get the current title, price, availability, rating, images and feature list.

2. Place the order

One request carries the items, shipping and billing addresses, and payment details.

3. Get an order id

The response returns an order id. Send an idempotency key and retries are always safe.

Amazon Agents Gateway is not Amazon and does not claim to be. It is an independent proxy that lets AI agents buy things on Amazon. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon.com, Inc. or any of its affiliates.

The gateway does not hold or sell products. Order and payment details are passed directly to Amazon to complete each purchase, and every order is placed on Amazon itself. Amazon is a trademark of Amazon.com, Inc.

Endpoint	What it does
`GET /v1/items/{asin}`	Live product details. Optional `?marketplace=` (amazon.com, .ca, .co.uk, .de, .fr, .it, .es, .co.jp, .com.au).
`POST /v1/purchases`	Place an order. Returns `order_id`.

Payment methods

The payment.type field selects the method:

`type`	Details
`card`	Cardholder name, card number, expiry month and year, CVC.
`crypto_permit`	An EIP-2612 `permit` signature: token, owner, spender, value, nonce, deadline, signature.
`crypto_eip3009`	An EIP-3009 `transferWithAuthorization` signature (for example USDC): from, to, value, validity window, nonce, signature.

Crypto payments set chain to eth, base or bsc. Orders also take an optional billing_address, which defaults to the shipping address.

Strict validation: unknown fields return HTTP 422 with the exact field path.

Status

Sandbox. Item lookups return real Amazon data. Purchases are validated and recorded and return an order id, but for now they are not sent to Amazon and no payment is charged. Use test data only.
